Rome Township, Lawrence County, Ohio

Rome Township is one of the fourteen townships of Lawrence County, Ohio, United States. Elsewhere in Ohio, Rome Townships are located in Athens and Ashtabula Counties.
It borders the following townships:
- Union Township - southwest
- Windsor Township - west
- Mason Township - northwest corner
- Guyan Township, Gallia County - north
To the south and east, Rome Township borders West Virginia across the Ohio River. It is the farthest upstream of Lawrence County's Ohio River townships.
Athalia, the second-smallest municipality in Lawrence County, is located midway along Rome Township's shoreline.
