Ronaldo Mota Sardenberg

Ronaldo Mota Sardenberg, born on October 8, 1940 in Itú in the state of São Paulo, is the Permanent Representative of Brazil to the United Nations. He presented his credentials to the United Nations Secretary-General on March 25, 2003. Prior to being appointed to his present position, he was the Brazilian Minister of Science and Technology. As Minister for Special Projects in 1999, he had been in charge of nuclear and space-related policies. He was also the Permanent Representative of Brazil to the United Nations from 1990 to 1994.
