Rose ffrench, 1st Baroness ffrench

Rose ffrench, 1st Baronses ffrench (died 8 December 1805) was an Irish peeress.
Rose was the eldest daughter of Patrick Dillon of Roscommon. On 25 June 1761, she married Charles ffrench, who was later Mayor of Galway and created a baronet in 1779. Her husband died in 1784 and in 1798, she was created Baroness ffrench, of Castle ffrench, County Galway in recognition of the services of her son, Sir Thomas, who was a member of the Catholic Committee. Rose was nominally Protestant and the creation was in keeping with King George III's objection to promoting Catholics, though her son later inherited the title upon Baroness ffrench's death in 1805.
