Rosemarie Köhn

'Rosemarie Köhn (b. October 20, 1939 in Rathenow, Germany) was a bishop in the Diocese of Hamar of the Church of Norway who retired from her post as of November 1, 2006. Bishop Köhn was born to a German father and Norwegian mother and immigrated to Norway in the late 1940s.
Köhn is a graduate from the University of Oslo (cand. theol.-degree). Köhn worked as an assistant professor in Biblical Theology at the University of Oslo between 1976-1988, and prinicipal of the Pracitcal-Theological Seminary from 1989-1993.
She was bishop of Hamar from 1993 to 2006. She was the first female bishop to be appointed in the Church of Norway. She stepped down from Office 1 November 2006 and was succeeded by Solveig Fiske.
