Roses Are Red is an alternative rock band formed in Rochester, New York, and currently signed to Trustkill Records. They have released their sophomore album What Became Of Me in June 13, 2006.

The band formed at Summer 2002 from the ashes of numerous other bands around the western of New York area. Just 2 months of forming, the band recorded a 4-song demo and hit the road for weekend tours, throughout the fall and winter of 2002. Their first full-length, Handshakes and Heartbreaks, was released on June of 2003. They immediately loaded up the van again to bring it up to the world, touring up the entire United States in July and August of 2003, the band generated quite a buzz within a indie scene. In August of 2003 the band was named "The Big Next Thing" by absolutepunk.net, Roses Are Red then signed to New York's Trustkill Records. Their new sophomore album "What Became Of Me", one of Alternative Press Magazine's Most Aniticipated Album Of 2006, which was produced by Brian McTernan(Thrice, Senses Fail, and Circa Survive). Which their new album is more intimate and emotional. Roses Are Red were on Trustkill Takeover Tour 2006, and a full US tour in January and February of 2007 with Rookie Of The Year and Four Letter Lie.
