Rottenrow Band

The Rottenrow Band is the backing band that tours and records with musician Alan Cassidy.
The band was named after Rottenrow a famous street in the city of Glasgow, Scotland. According to myth the Rottenrow was where Alan Cassidy's mother was born as well as many of the band's family members.
Rottenrow is best known as the address of the Glasgow Royal Maternity Hospital (usually nicknamed by locals simply as "The Rottenrow").
The Rottenrow Band is considered to have started in December 2004, even though it hasn't been officially billed and known as such until 2007.
