Roujin Z (Ro-ujin Z?) is a 1991 Japanese anime film by Katsuhiro Otomo, best known for Akira.

A solution to the problem of elderly care comes in the form of Z-001, a robotic system designed to care for the needs of the elderly. It appears first to be a good plan, especially in the eyes of the younger generations. However, when it is trialed on old Mr. Takazawa, the results are alarming and reveal the true reason of the machine's creation.
