Roulade

A French term for a thin slab or slice of meat rolled around a filling, which is sliced and cooked. Common fillings include cheese, vegetables, or other meats.
Bracioles and paupiettes are types of savory roulades.
Cinnamon rolls or jelly rolls are also dessert types of roulades made with fillings of cinnamon sugar mixture and jelly, respective.
Loosely defined, a makizushi or "California roll" sushi, would qualify as a roulade.
