Roy Kettle

Roy Kettle OBE is a retired UK civil servant who, among many other achievements, was one of the principal architects of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995.
Science fiction fans know Roy (or 'Leroy') as a prolific co-author with the late John Brosnan, publishing under the names Harry Adam Knight and Simon Ian Childer.
He also produced a fanzine TRUE RAT and was the leading light with Greg Pickersgill of Ratfandom in London in the 1970's. Roy is celebrated for his sharp wit, and his fanzine was packed with his humorous writing.
He has a daughter called Jennifer, and a son called Nathan.
