Rufus Tree

Rufus Tree is an indie Christian rock band from Chicago, Illinois. Their two full length CDs resemble Lifehouse, Switchfoot, and Pearl Jam stylistically. Rufus Tree has opened for bands such as Lifehouse, Rusted Root, and Sonic Flood and have been together since 1998. Grammy Award winning guitarist Phil Keaggy and Dove Award winning songwriter Mitch McVicker guest performed on Rufus Tree's 2005 album, Dying To Live. Rufus Tree contains 4 band members who play a variety of instruments, such as hammered dulcimer, harmonica, jaw harp, and e-bow, combining them with traditional rock elements.
