Rugby League National Leagues in 2007

The league will be televised live for the first time following a deal with the broadcaster Sky Sports [1]. The televised matches will take place on Thursday evening and will begin on April 5 2007 with the match between the Widnes Vikings and Leigh Centurions.
As yet the league has no main sponsor.
National League One welcomes back the Castleford Tigers, relegated from the Super League in 2006. Dewsbury Rams and Sheffield Eagles gained promotion from National League Two.
York City Knights and Oldham Roughyeds are relegated to National League Two.
There will be no National League Three in 2007, with the league being rebranded as the Rugby League Conference National division.
