IMDb profile |
Running on Karma is a 2003 Hong Kong movie, directed by Johnnie To and Wai Ka-Fai.
This is the second movie starring Andy Lau in which he wears a prosthetic suit. In his previous work, Love on a Diet, he wore a fat suit. In this movie, he wears a muscle suit.
This movie is a mish-mash of genres and ends up being a well thought out Buddhist parable about the nature of karma. Although uneven and sometimes over the top, at heart it is about acceptance and the nobility of forgiveness.
