Ryan Eagleson (born December 17, 1974) was an Irish cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler.
His career with the Irish cricket team stretched back to 1995, just two years after the ICC decided to recognize them as a team. Eagleson's cricketing career, however, was hampered by a severe back injury, but he still earned a total of 65 international caps (1995-2004). Represented Ireland in the ICC Trophy in 1997 and 2001, and Northern Ireland in the 1998 Commonwealth Games.
He first played cricket for Glamorgan in the 1996 Second XI Championship, though he soon transferred to Derbyshire, for whom he played for the AON Risks Trophy in 1999. He made only one first-class appearance for Derbyshire, but broke his finger in a game where Muttiah Muralitharan compiled match statistics of 11 for 61.
Most recently Eagleson played in Ireland's famous victory over West Indies at Stormont in 2004. He continues to play club cricket with his hometown club Carrickfergus CC in the Northern Cricket Union Premier League. He was appointed Cricket Development Oficer for the Northern Cricket Union of Ireland in 2006.
