Ryoko Shinohara
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Ryoko Shinohara (篠原涼子 Shinohara Ryōko, b. August 13, 1973 in Kiryu, Gunma Prefecture -) is a Japanese singer and actress. On December 8, 2005, she married actor Masachika Ichimura. She is perhaps most famous among anime enthusiasts for providing the vocals for the theme to the Japanese version of Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie. The movie wasn't particularly successful but the single produced by Tetsuya Komuro sold over 2 million copies.
She hadn't any musical hit since then and moved to acting. It took years, but in 2004 she became one of the most popular actresses in Japan.
