[edit] ACT and VOR
The Specifications section links to ACT and VOR wikiwords, but there are no actual entries for these file formats, only other uses of the acronyms. Since I don't know which is the correct way to fix this I am just noting it here.
[edit] Deletion of Partition
My Firmware version is 'B203G2BV1.2' . By mistake I have deleted the partition in FDISK utility. Now my player shows capacity only 101 MB rather than 256 MB. Please help me out this to get the 256 MB back as storage capacity.
[edit] Importance of GEMBIRD
Why do we say Gembird is the OEM for these devices? Do we have any citations to suggest that this company originated the S1? There are other companies on the list of brands (see external links) which call themselves OEMs too. -CarelessHair 02:19, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Gembird is NOT the OEM of this product
To whom it may concern;
Please be aware that Gembird Electronics has nothing to do with so-called "Sumvision MP3 players" . Some companies have fraudulently put a reference to our website in their own MP3 player manuals as they do not have their own websites - this of course is totally illegal !
Gembird is actively looking for importers responsible for such fraud, and will be taking all available legal measures against them.
If you have any information about them or this practice, please contact us by postmaster@gmb.nl
Thank you

[edit] Chip hacked to appear as 4GB
"Memory capacities of 64 MB to 4 GB. 4GB versions usually have a smaller Flash memory chip hacked to appear as 4GB." I'm sorry but i can't make any sense of this. The manual in my s1 states 32mb to 1gb. Perhaps they mean make 4gb memory appear as 1gb?
Somewhere should be mentioned that there are "S1/MP4" players as well, and some models have an sd slot instead of builtin flash memory.
