SaberLeomon is a fictional character from the Digimon franchise, a Mega Level Ancient Animal Digimon. It is a lion with teeth similar to the Smilodon (also known as the Saber-tooth cat). He is the Beast-type Mega Form of Leomon.

After being exposed to the power of the DigiDestined's Digivices a few times when he was under the control of Devimon, Leomon had inherited the ability to Digivolve to his Mega form (skipping the ultimate stage). But there's one problem: he was unable to control it at times. He rescued Mimi, Palmon, Joe, Gomamon and Ogremon from being found by MetalEtemon and took them to where Digitamamon's restaurant was. They encountered an Otamamon and Gekomon there. When MetalEtemon attacked, Leomon Digivolved to SaberLeomon to fight him. He threw himself in front of an attack heading toward Mimi, getting mortally injured in the process. Gomamon Digivolved immediately to Zudomon, attacked with his hammer sparks but could not hurt MetalEtemon since his body was coated with digimetal. However, when Zudomon then threw his hammer at him, it cracked his body because the hammer was also made by digimetal. With all the strength left, SaberLeomon punched his claw into the cracked wound, defeating MetalEtemon and reverted back to Leomon before he died.

A large SaberLeomon was one of the few Digimon who saw humans as a threat, attacking the research group that was searching for Ikuto Noguchi. He attacked Suguru's group and Suguru was able to knock him down. That very same Digimon reappears 10 years later, questioning Mercurimon's policies before assembling his own army of Boarmon and Pteramon with aid from Gotsumon to attack the real world. He recalled about the events about the humans who were deleting Digimon. He appears in the Real World to fight RiseGreymon, MachGaogamon, and Lilamon. During the fight, a Gizmon AT appears and SaberLeomon is hit with Gizmon's laser, causing him to be paralyzed and confused. Masaru punches and breaks one of his fangs and SaberLeomon is killed by RiseGreymon. Howeverm SaberLeomon's egg is destroyed as an after effect of Gizmon's laser. Saberleomon's appearance is much larger than in the first Digimon.

Leomon said that he was "searching for something". When the Drimogemon group at Drill Tunnel found an ancient ruin underground, it was revealed that this had been the tomb of Leomon's Ancestor. The statue in that tomb resembles a SaberLeomon.
