This is an encylopedia article not Fiske's Guide to Colleges. Therefore statistics are to be kept to a minimum. Vincent Gray 06:45, 26 Mar 2005 (UTC)
I eliminated some of the statistics... a lot of what remains seems to me either very general (most universities have many of the same sports teams...), or irrelevant (what's this about partnerships and memberships? this isn't a corporate marketing ad). But I fixed the grammar somewhat... still needs work. Though, for such a small school, I'm not sure if there's much to be said. In fact, for just about any school, I'm not sure what should and should not be said... LordAmeth 23:44, 26 Mar 2005 (UTC)
Read the article before checking Talk, and I had the same impression. At the least I'd take out the sports teams and partnership sections. Also, is the # of degrees granted relevant? I'd say no. Keithlaw 00:56, 27 Mar 2005 (UTC)
Another question: What was the ceremony of 7/31/97? The article mentions a ceremony, but not its purpose. | Keithlaw 22:36, 29 Mar 2005 (UTC)
I wonder who on earth calls Sabanci, "Harvard of the Middle East", posssibly other than its own students. It is a reputable institution in Turkey, but it is by no means called as such in general media or elsewhere. If there is no objection in a few days, I am going to delete this part. I made a number of corrections to improve grammar, usage, and clarity. In addition, the article uses too much passive voice, but I wasn't able to correct that because I'm not sure who exactly is doing the action in the sentences with passive voice. Norman314 03:06, 9 April 2006 (UTC)
