From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Saint-Victor-la-Coste is a town and commune in the Gard département, located northwest of Avignon, in the south of France.
Built against a hill overlooking a plain covered with vineyards with the Rhone valley in the distance, the site was once part of the medieval domain of the Count of Sabran.
Interesting sights include an 11th-century church and a 13th-century fort restored by an international volunteer organization.
There are several wineries in the village producing Cotes du Rhone wines.
