Saint Lawrence Academy, in Santa Clara, California, USA, was founded in 1975. It stresses its small size, which translates to close interaction among students, administration, faculty, and counselors. Also cutting edge in technology, Saint Lawrence Academy (SLA) places an Apple Computer iBook laptop in the hands of every student.
As of 2006, the school has considered switching to HP Computers for the 2007-2008 school year onward.

As a college preparatory school, SLA requires coursework in English, mathematics, social studies, science, foreign language, fine arts, religious studies, computers and physical education. SLA also provides an honors,Advanced Placement and various honors courses.

With approximately 70% of SLA students participating in athletics, the program is highly successful. The school's "no cut" policy contributes to the breadth of student participation. SLA fields 14 teams in 11 sports. Sports include basketball, baseball, cross country, golf, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track and field and volleyball. St. Lawrence's cross-country team has made it to the state championships the last seven seasons. St. Lawrence's baseball team has also been invited perennially to the CIF-CCS championships.
