"Saint Valentine's Day" was the 32nd episode of the French animated television series Code Lyoko. It premiered in France on October 5, 2005 and in the United States on September 26, 2005.

It is St Valentine's Day and love is in the air. When a man possessed by XANA leaves a necklace at Aelita's door, Yumi seems convinced that it was Jeremie who got it for her. Since Jeremie did not get it, he is left to wonder who did, and ends up suspecting Odd, who avoids the question. This puts the two at odds. Meanwhile, Aelita's necklace takes control of her and forces her to deliver herself to the Scyphozoa.

At night, a red-coated delivery boy walks through the corridors of Kadic Junior High School. He leaves a present in front of the door of Aelita's dorm room. Aelita is awoken from her nightmares by her computer and a knock on the door directs her to look outside. She sees the orange gift box and no-one in the hallway. She takes it in and opens it, revealing a violet pendant with a swirling vortex on it.

As the delivery boy walks out of the Dormitory Building, he is confronted by Jim. With the Eye of XANA flickering in his eyes, the delivery boy shoots violet sparks from his hands. As Jim equivocates, the delivery boy uses the electormagnetism in his hands to magnetize himself to the ceiling and escape by crawling across it and out the door. Jim is left in disbelief.

The next morning, Aelita shows Yumi the pendant at the arches. Yumi says it is "plain, but not bad." Yumi hints at Aelita that Jeremie probably gave it to her. Aelita asks why and Yumi tells her that it is because today is St Valentine's Day. The two girls walk off with Yumi explaining what this holiday means in a nutshell.

Later that morning, Ulrich asks Jeremie what rhymes with "Tulip." Jeremie lists some sub-par words and Ulrich says, "Never mind." Jeremie prys Ulrich to see if this is a poem, but Ulrich passes it off as Biology homework. Suddenly, Aelita runs up to Jeremie at another outdoor archway and thanks him for the pendant. Jeremie, surprised, replies: "Uhhh...yeah, uh. Well, you're welcome. It's only natural, heh..." After Aelita walks off, Ulrich determines that Jeremie didn't really gave Aelita the pendant, to which Jeremie replies, "Was it that obvious?"

In History class, Gilles Fumet is delving into his special Saint Valentine's Day lesson; a lecture on the origin of the holiday and its link with the Roman Empire and the early Christian Church. While Fumet talks, Jeremie starts asking Odd and Ulrich if they gave her the pendant. They deny it, but Jeremie doesn't believe them, especially Odd. Jeremie instigates an argument with Odd that degenerates into a loud mudslinging fest. The entire class is distracted and Gilles Fumet scolds the two boys and sends them off to Headmaster Delmas' office

Headmaster Delmas says that he is in a particularly lenient mood since it is St Valentine's Day. He gives both of the boys two hours of detention.

Later in the day, Jeremie, Ulrich, and Yumi are outside on the Quad. Sissi walks up to Ulrich and gives him an envelope. At first, Ulrich refuses to open it but he is persuaded by Sissi. He is not disappointed. Ulrich picks out two tickets to the Subsonics concert. He thanks Sissi, who says that she was only too happy to get her and Ulrich tickets to the boy's favorite band. Yumi glares at the couple on the bench, jealous. At this point, William walks over to Yumi and hands her a bouqut of roses. Yumi sniffs them and thanks the beaming William. Disgusted at Yumi for accepting the roses, Ulrich reaches into his pocket, revealing a slip of paper. On it is printed a poem. He then reads the poem to Sissi:

"To tell you how much I flip,

It's not with a Tulip;

How I'm a victim of your charms, and

I long to hold you in my arms;

With you, I never feel gloomy,

My little... Sissi."

Shocked, Yumi kisses William to get back at Ulrich.

Meanwhile, Aelita is washing her hands in a girls' lavatory. Suddenly, her pendant flashes. Violet sparks race up her body and the Eye of XANA appears in her eyes. Aelita has been possessed.

Outside, Jeremie wonders where Aelita is.

In Mrs. Hertz's class, Aelita asks Jeremie if she can go to Sector 5. Jeremie tells her that everyone is in a bad mood because of earlier scuffles. Because of that, they probably wouldn't come along. Aelita tries to seduce him and kisses him on the cheek. Surprised, Jeremie falls out of his seat. Thoroughly angry, Mrs. Hertz sends him to the Headmaster's office

Headmaster Delmas asks Jeremie what has gotten into the star student and gives the boy another two hours of detention.

When he goes back to his dorm room, Aelita and Yumi are waiting for him. Aelita tells Jeremie that Yumi is willing to go along.

At the Factory, Jeremie starts up the virtualization process. As Aelita is virtualized, Jeremie notices something wrong with her scan.

Aelita and Yumi appear in the Forest Sector. Jeremie brings up the Vehicles and tells them to go east to reach the cliff at the edge of the region. However, Aelita says she's going north instead, towards the Ice Barrier Sector. She leg-sweeps Yumi and takes off on the Overboard.

Jeremie calls Odd, but Odd's cell phone is confiscated by Jim because he's in detention at the moment. He then calls Ulrich, who is in Sissi's room. Hearing the news, Ulrich walks out on a fuming Sissi.

Jeremie theorizes that the pendant is what allows XANA to control Aelita.

As Yumi pursues Aelita on her Overwing, the possessed AI passes between two Krabes. The monsters recognize their master's signal and let Aelita sail through. The two monsters then immediately turn on Yumi and promptly shoot down her Vehicle.

At school, Ulrich is trying to get Odd out of detention, telling Jim that Odd wants to see Aelita because she has a fever. Jim is skeptical and disallows it.

Jeremie calls Ulrich, who tells Jeremie about the problem. Jeremie asks Ulrich to put Jim through, while he loads up a program on the Lab computer. Jim answers the phone; however, instead of hearing Jeremie's voice, he hears Headmaster Delmas' voice ordering him to let Odd go. Admonished and surprised, Jim consents and Odd leaves a free man.

When Ulrich asks how Jeremie did that, he reveals that he has written a program which allows him to mimic other people's voices, and demonstrates it again with Headmaster Delmas' voice.

On Lyoko, Yumi destroys one of the Krabes with her metallic boomerang fans and collects them only to have one missing. The other Krabe shoots the other out of her hand , she uses telekinies to bring it back but he shoots it away again, leaving her defencless. She hops on the Overwing and goes to the ice Sector.

Meanwhile, Odd and Ulrich arrive at the Lab. Odd forgives Jeremie for his suspicions and the two make up.

Yumi catches Aelita, ramming her Overboard and destroying both vehicles. Immediately, Aelita uses her Creativity to create a hole in the ice, leaving Yumi dangling above the Digital Void. With one threat incapacitated, Aelita continues to run. As Yumi loses her grip, Ulrich reaches down and grabs her. Ulrich admits the poem was for her, although Yumi comments that this is not really the time to discuss it. Yumi slips out of Ulrich's grasp, but Jeremie manages to materialize her before she hits the Digital Void.

Meanwhile, Odd is chasing Aelita, who uses her Creativity to block him with a wall of ice. Out of an icy cave, the Scyphozoa emerges and Aelita willingly sacrifices herself to it. The Scyphozoa immediately goes about stealing Aelita's memories. As this goes on, Odd begins to climb over the wall. Ulrich attempts to cut through the ice with his katana, but without success. Just as Odd climbs over the wall, Aelita uses her Creativity to freeze his legs to the ground, immobilizing him.

With no options left, Jeremie tries the only thing left he can think of. He tells Odd to shoot at Aelita, knowing that XANA needs her alive to take her memory, and hoping that XANA will not risk killing her. Odd shoots at her multiple times. With Aelita only having ten life points left, the Scyphozoa releases her and leaves. Aelita wakes up, wondering why Odd has his laser arrows aimed at her. She then enters the activated Tower and shuts it down.

When Aelita gets back, Yumi crushes the pendant, revealing a computer chip with the Eye of XANA on it. Jeremie says he'll analyze the chip to see if he can learn anything new about XANA. Aelita tells him that saving her life is the best Saint Valentine's Day present she could ask for.

At school, Ulrich agrees to go with Sissi to the concert, in exchange for Sissi convincing her father to let Jeremie off the hook for missing four hours of detention.

Ulrich: (Talking about the necklace) You didn't give it to her, did you?

Jeremie: Was it that obvious?

Ulrich: Yeah, but lucky for you, love has made Aelita blind.

Jeremie: Odd, the necklace. It wasn't you, was it?

Odd: Do I have to remind you that Aelita is supposed to be my cousin?

Jeremie: Yes, except that we both know she isn't your cousin.

Odd: Yeah, what if it was me? Aelita isn't your property, as far as I know.

Jeremie: Aha, you see, you admit it!!

Odd: I didn't admit anything!!

Jeremie: (standing up and yelling) You just said it was you!

Odd: Hey, have you gone bananas? (yelling back) Your eyesight's not great, but your hearing's worse!

Yumi: Jeremie, could you just remind me what will happen if I fall into the Digital Sea?!

Jeremie: Uhm, if I were you, I would avoid it!

Yumi: William, your bouquet is beautiful! How did you know that I liked roses?

William: I didn't, but I figured you were like all the other girls.

Yumi: You know what day it is today?

Aelita: Uh... Tuesday!

(When Ulrich writing a poem for Yumi)

Ulrich: (to Jeremie) What rhymes with uhh, tulip?

Jeremie: I don't know! Microchip? Paperclip? Hypocrite?

Ulrich: Okay, nevermind.

Jeremie: What are you writing?

Ulrich: Nothing!

Jeremie: A poem?

Ulrich: No!

Jeremie: Is it for Yumi?

Ulrich: No, it's Biology homework.

Jeremie: Biology homework that rhymes, huh?

(Ulrich in Sissi's room)

Sissi: Hey, where you going?

Ulrich: Jeremie just reminded of a really important thing I have to do.

Sissi: What?

Ulrich: Uh, well, leave!

(Jeremie's been posing as the Headmaster over the phone to convince Jim to let Odd and Ulrich go)

Jim: When you have time, could I speak to you about a personal matter? It's about Suzanne Hertz.

Jeremie: I, well, uh, I… it's a tunnel. We're about to get cut off.

(Ulrich is holding Yumi over the Digital Void)

Ulrich: Say, Yumi. What did you think of my poem for Sissi?

Yumi: Ulrich, this is really not the time.

Ulrich: Because, in fact, I wrote it for you.

(Yumi smiles)

Yumi: I...I can't hold on!

(Yumi slips out of Ulrich's grasp)

Ulrich: Yumi!

• At the end when Ulrich and Sissi are walking away, Yumi and Aelita start laughing. Odd is also heard laughing, but his mouth is closed and he's only smirking.
• Jeremie calls Odd to tell him XANA is attacking, but while Odd is talking to him the purple patch in his hair disappears for a second then reappears.
• When Jeremie is scanning Odd, Ulrich's 3-D character is still shown on the computer. Odd's character doesn't appear on the screen.
• The person who played Yumi's voice sounded like she a had a cold.
• When Odd got frozen in the ice, his legs were frozen in two different bits of ice. In later scenes, they're frozen together.
