Salome Kammer

Salome Kammer (born 17 January 1959 in Nidda, Hesse, Germany) is a German actor, singer and cellist.
Kammer was the fourth of six children. Her father was a Protestant pastor. Although born in Nidda, she grew up in Ober-Mockstadt, before her family moved to Frankfurt when she was eight. She first became known to the general public as a cellist, and then as an actor, playing the role of Clarissa Lichtblau in the film Die Zweite Heimat and its sequel, Heimat 3, by Edgar Reitz.
Now married to Reitz, she lives in Munich and is a noted performer of 20th century classical music.
