Salanth started out as a character on Materia Magica.
The origin of the name is a from a brainstorm of "-nth"-ending names inspired by the dragons in Anne McCaffrey's Dragonriders of Pern series.

Still working on my Honours Bachelor's Degree at the University of Toronto. My major is Classical Civilization and my minors are French and Book and Media Studies.
I started learning French in French immersion since senior kindergarten. I took German for three years in high school, but aside from vocabulary words and understanding simple phrases, I can't use it practically. The little Spanish I can understand comes mostly through similarities to French and from some American media influences. Any Korean I have is leftover from my childhood, but again, I can't use it practically.
