Sam Lerner (b. 1993) is an American child actor who made his major debut as the role of Chowder in the 2006 computer-animated film, Monster House.[1] Lerner also played the lead role in the feature film Envy.[1] He has made many appearances on television shows such as My Life With Men (the son of Wendy Matlick), Malcom in the Middle, The King of Queens, Oliver Beene, Two and a Half Men, The Untitled Diamond Weisman Pilot , and a voice piece on the Cartoon Network show Whatever Happened to Robot Jones?.
He is the son of actor Ken Lerner. He is not to be confused with Sammy Lerner, the 1930s composer of the "Popeye the Sailor" theme and other music.
