Samandağ

Samandağ, Turkey is a town in Hatay Province at , near the site of the ancient Seleucia Pieria. It is also known as Samanda, Yukarı Alevışık and Suwaidiyyah (Süveydiye). It is located along near Syria around the Mediterranean Sea. Much of its population adhere to the Alevi Sect of Shia Islam which has many teachings related to Christianity.
