Samart Payakaroon

Samart Payakaroon is a Thai actor, singer and former Muay Thai and boxing champion.

Once called "The Bruce Lee of Boxing", Samart was both a Muay Thai champion and the two time world Jr. Featherweight boxing champion (in 1986 and 1994), defeating Lupe Pintor by KO in the fifth round. Payakaroon was a lightning quick boxer with tremendous knockout power. He teaches Muay Thai in Thailand.

Samart had a role in the 2001 Thai film, The Legend of Suriyothai. He had a major role in the French drama film, Fureur, and was in the 2004 film, The Bodyguard. In 2006, he co-starred in the Thai martial arts film, Dynamite Warrior.
