Sambar Server

Sambar server is a multi-threaded, extensible application server with highly programmable API. It has virtual domain support (currently name based) with independent document/CGI directories, log files, and error templates. Its main competitor is Apache HTTP Server.
As of January 3, 2007 Sambar Server is at version 7.0 Beta 4 and will allow for extended features such as Jabber, Ejabberd and Google Talk.

Samber Server is closed source and is licensed in two different ways:
- Samber Server Basic:
This is is the free version of the server and has a limited feature set compared to the Pro version but does not degrade server performance.[1]
- Sambar Server Pro:
This is that paid for version of the server and allows the the administrator to use several features such as Mail Server, WebDAV, Document Manager, DNS, SOCKs, IRC and Throttling Services and other enhanced features.
