Same Eyez On Me is Petey Pablo's third studio album. The album is set to be released sometime in 2007. The albums release has been delayed for almost two years, One reason for the delay includes Death Row Records owner Suge Knight losing control over his company, and having to declare bankrupt. Pablo offered no details about how he ended up in business with Suge Knight, but confirmed that the Death Row founder is executive producing the album. The album is much anticipated by Petey Pablo fans, As his infamous return to rap after a short break. The album content is not yet know, There is much speculation on how many tracks the album will have, Some websites are stating the album will be a double or triple CD. Suge Knight claimed that together they have recorded over one hundred songs while on Death Row Records.
One song from the album titled "Who Shot Him" was leaked onto the internet in 2005. The song appeared on various websites two days after Suge Knight was shot and wounded at after a party in Miami. The theme of the track is a retaliation to whomever shot Knight. Several people have been rumoured to be responsible for the shooting include rap artist The Game, These allegations have all been denied.
