Sammi Davis

Sammi Davis is a British actress. She was born in Kidderminster on 21 June 1964, and has starred in Hope and Glory, Consuming Passions, The Rainbow and Lair of the White Worm.
She gained considerable praise for her performance in Ken Russell's The Rainbow (1989). She also had significant roles in Mike Hodges' A Prayer For The Dying - alongside Bob Hoskins and Mickey Rourke - and John Boorman's Hope And Glory (both 1987) as well as a long-running role in the Emmy Award-winning US TV series Homefront between 1991 and 1993. After taking a few years out of the film industry, her most recent screen appearance was a cameo in the hugely popular cult TV series Lost, playing the mother of Dominic Monaghan's character.
