[edit] Possible date of death error

I'm adding a few paragraphs I found (with the reference) from an Army site about the events surrounding the death of Lt. Coursen. The dates in the report though differ by two months the date of death on the citation, leaving me to assume that either the wrong date of death/action is recorded on the citation, or the date on the citation is the date of award instead of the date of death/action (still wrong anyway). I'll leave it as it is for now though, until more 'evidence' appears to specify which date is correct. wbfergus 13:48, 25 December 2006 (UTC)

Samuel S. Coursen was my grandfather and I may be able to help. First of all, thanks a lot for creating the page! I can check the medal and official citation for date information as well as scrapbook records. I may be able to upload some pictures come summertime.
