Hi. I'm Sammy James. I live right now in Boston. That may change in the not-too-distant future, but for now, I live here. I'm a musician, record producer, and sometimes writer. I have in the past worked at companies like Kurzweil and Cakewalk, editing and writing technical manuals. I have also recorded some demos for each of those corporations, although only Cakewalk paid me for my work. Kurzweil is not a company to itself; rather, it is owned by Young Chang, a Korean piano manufacturer.

If you care about the trivia of what manuals and other docs I authored, I'll include a short list here. They include:

- Cakewalk Pro Audio 6.0 User Guide -- 560 pages, as per the original request by Cakewalk management. I edited every page, and added about 100 new pages to the 5.0 manual, which was originally approximately 450 pages.j

- Kurzweil KDS Option installation guide, Chapter 7 (Setup Mode) from the Kurzweil K2500 manual, and too numerous other small documents. I also authored large portions of the K2500 service manual, also including technical pages provided by the engineers.

My time working at music technology companies was fun but stressful.
