Sandeep Batra

Sandeep Batra was one of the finalists of Fame Gurukul, one of the most watched Indian reality television shows. He was chosen from among thousands of Indians who auditioned. Because of his crave for "Illachi Juice" Sandeep was given the name "Lichee" by his fellow Gurukul members.He hails from Delhi and is a qualified mech engineer. He has been learning classical music for the past 3 years.
He was among three wild card entrants who were allowed entry into the show when the contest had narrowed down to five from the original fourteen contestants. He consistently proved himself to be a superlative singer, with inspired performances of "Mae ri", "Piya re" and "Tanhai".
Incidentally there are other famous people carrying the same name . The current CFO of ICICI Prudential and a senior officer with Standard Chartered carry the same name.
