Sandra Christina McCoy (born August 14, 1979) is an American actress who is best known for her role in the 2005 thriller Cry Wolf.

McCoy was born to a Filipino/Irish family, and raised in San Jose, California. She started training in gymnastics and dance at the age of eight, and was on her high school cheerleading squad, as well as soccer and diving teams. Her parents and younger brother died in 1993 in an airplane accident. McCoy was not on that flight, and she was the only survivor in her family.[1]
McCoy received a Bachelor's degree in psychology from Santa Clara University.

McCoy moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in Hollywood after graduating from college. Her big break was the lead role in the 'N Sync "Pop" music video. She has had many small film roles as an actress and dancer, and also starred in several national commercials. She was a cheerleader for the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2002–2003 season.
McCoy guest-starred on many television shows before landing lead roles in several films. She is well known for her starring role as Mercedes in 2005's Cry Wolf, when she met her boyfriend, Jared Padalecki.
She auditioned to be the seventh Pussycat Doll, but did not make it into the house.
