Two weeks ago, the media reported Pupatello was going to endorse Michael Ignatieff. Does anyone know why this (apparently) hasn't happened? CJCurrie 05:15, 23 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Birthdate and political involvement
Sandra Pupatello was born on October 6, 1962 in Windsor. All her biographies state that she first became politically active working on an election campaign for former Windsor MP Herb Gray when she was fourteen. The problem is there was no federal election in 1976; Gray was re-elected in July 1974, followed by May 1979. So either the "fourteen" statement is a mistake, or else Pupatello was born in either 1960 or 1965. Does anyone know the real story? Krago 04:05, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
- Hmm ... that is an odd discrepancy. I'll have to look into this.
- Here's the line from the Hamilton Spectator source I was using: By 14, Sandra Pizzolitto was campaigning for federal Liberal cabinet minister Herb Gray, striking up a lifelong bond with her local Liberal riding association. I might have to make the language more ambiguous if I can't clear this up. CJCurrie 05:04, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
