Apologies for the error. I read the information somewhere. I'm glad that wikipedia is such an international community and this sort of mistakes gets eventually corrected. Regards and best wishes, Asteriontalk 20:27, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
Premier Automobiles (PAL), a now-defunct Indian company had had a model in their lineup named Premier 118NE. This car was based on Fiat 125 and it sported an engine sourced from Nissan (hence the badge,"NE"). I think you might have seen the pictures of this car and mistook it for the 1500. India never imported cars or any autos for the mass market. More info: http://www.carskerala.com/premier_118ne.htm Sandeepmdas 05:09, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
- No, I did not actually see any picture. I simply read about this somewhere but cannot remember where it was. Obviously a mistake, maybe the writer did actually confuse both cars himself. Looking at the Premier, it reminds me of my old uncle's SEAT 124 when I was little. I have good memories of it :o) Asteriontalk 18:05, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
