Sarah Whatmore

Sarah Whatmore (born 1981 and raised in Walkden, Manchester, England) is a singer best known from the British TV series Pop Idol.
Having previously worked with Billboard #1 dance producer 'Chris Brophy' www.chrisbrophy.co.uk she became a contestant on Pop Idol. She made it to the final 50 contestants, and was spotted by 19 Entertainment's Simon Fuller who offered her a global management deal. He later signed her to a global record deal with RCA Records.
Her first single "When I Lost You" reached no.6 in the UK Singles Chart, and her follow-up "Automatic" narrowly missed out on a top ten position, charting at no.11. As a songwriter she worked with fellow Pop Idol contestant Zoe Birkett on her debut single "Treat Me Like a Lady".
Sarah has also recorded the classic Grease song "Sandra Dee" on the special album Greasemania.
Sarah has not been seen in the music business for four years and more recently appeared on The Hits TV channel on the programme "Top Reality TV Losers".
