Sarcastic Front was hardcore punk band from Karviná in Czech Republic. Formed in 1990 after fall of iron curtain in 1989 along with many other rock, metal and punk bands. High school students Vladimír Timčák and Argir Ziovský were long time admiring western bands, guys with skateboards and cool t-shirts. All their dreams became possible after country has changed its political system. Within 4 years of its existence, S.F. played at many concerts and mini festivals in Moravian-Silesian Region and Slovakia. Affected by growing up in heavy industrial and coal mining region, their songs were mainly focusing on social and ecological problems such as greenhouse effect. In 1992 recorded first demo tape I'm Mackintosh with nine songs. After some personnel changes band find it self in right shape. In June 1993 recorded Člověk proti člověku (Man against Man) at Fors Studio in Český Těšín. Record included twelve songs such as Social product, Stop, Livestock suicide, I want more, What if, Because it is modern or Businessman and one live bonus song Never from concert in Košice.At its peak, band consisted of: Vlastimil Brož - guitar, Argir Ziovský - bass, Jan Lukáč - drums and Vladimír Timčák - vocal. Band was added to Encyclopedia of czech and slovak hard rock and heavy metal bands - Ohlasy písní těžkých, writen by Petr Korál and Jaroslav Špulák in 1993.
