Sardar Akhtar Mengal

Sardar Akhtar Mengal is a former Chief Minister of Pakistani province Balochistan who served in 1997. He is also the president of Balochistan National Party. He is son of prominent politician Sardar Ataullah Mengal and the former Chief Minister of Balochistan.An anti-terrorist court had declared Sardar Akhtar Mengal fugitive and wanted in the government officials’ kidnapping case. The police arrested him and Balochistan Home Department made a statement that the Central president of BNP (Mengal) and the former Balochistan chief minister, Sardar Akhtar Mengal, who was confined at Lasi Farm located at Sakhran of Hub outskirts area under section 3 MPO until further orders has been shifted to Karachi after being taken into custody by the Karachi police.
