Satish Nidhi

Professor Satish Kumar Nidhi, born in Bihar in the year 1930, was an eminent educationist working as a Professor in Commerce at Magadh University in Patna, Bihar, India. He is well known for his contributions in the field of 'Principles of Accountancy'. He started his career at Patna University but subsequently moved to Magadh University with its inception in 1962. For a long time, he was associated with the College of Commerce, Patna. He passed away in the year 1994 and is survived by his wife Lalita Nidhi and four children. He was one of the guiding spirits behind the game of soccer in Bihar during 60s and 70s. He is now fondly remembered for his singular contribution in the field of creating awareness about education in rural Bihar.
