Sawagongo High School

Sawagongo High School is a school in Siaya District, Kenya. Sawagongo has produced some of Kenya's academic elites and leaders. Among these include the late Ambrose Adeya Adongo who headed the giant Kenya National Association of Teachers (KNUT), Bishop Wasonga Sijeyo of the Anglican Church of Kenya and Paul Gondi. Others include Dr. Stephen Nyangoma (a genomics expert), Ken Nyagudi (a Kenyan MP), Jakoyo Midiwo(Gem constituency MP), Were David Aoko(Matungu constituency MP) and the late Arthur Okoth-Owiro(Prof. of Law - University of Nairobi).
