ScanSource a company located in Greenville, South Carolina, specializing in selling bar code readers and other products.
ScanSource was founded in 1992 to serve the reseller channel as a source for automatic identification and data capture (AIDC) and point of sale systems and solutions such as point of sale scanners and point of sale software. voice, data and converged communications products through its Catalyst Telecom division; converged communications equipment through its Paracon division; and electronic security products through its ScanSource Security Distribution division. Serving only technology solution providers, ScanSource is committed to empowering its customers with services and tools designed to help them succeed in these fast-growing markets.
