Scar Symmetry is a melodic death metal band from Sweden that started in April 2004. In addition to the more typical Gothenburg melodic death metal aesthetics (numerous melodies and harmonies in the guitars, growling vocals, etc.), there is Power Metal influenced singing especially shown in Dreaming 24/7
