Scarlet four-o'clock (Mirabilis coccinea), is a spring wildflower found in the eastern Mojave Desert of the southwestern United States. The plant grows to two feet with deep-red flowers which open at night. The plant can be found occasionally on washes, plains, and rocky slopes.
