Hey
Thanks for cleaning up that stuff on my talkpage - I have no idea who that is. I didn't even know any of my friends spell that badly. Oh well, cheers again. riana_dzasta 04:51, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
- Think of all the poor adopted Malawian children you are depriving through your thoughtless actions. That's all I have to say. riana_dzasta 11:34, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
- Oooh, band I haven't heard of. Thanks so much, I love hearing about new bands. They sound like my kind of music, too. Living in Australia means that new music usually is Australian. Which is not a bad thing, but we miss out on stuff, too. Unless you're a Sydney-sider. riana_dzasta 12:14, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, I've got an entry there :) Annoyingly America-centric. And I looked at it again and thought of all the songs I forgot (for example, the one referenced in your signature). That list is so hard to keep accurate! :) riana_dzasta 12:22, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
- I've got 16 US bands, 1 French, 3 Irish, 1 Canadian, 1 Russian, 6 British, and 13 Aussies. Some of those overlap a little, of course. Sorry about the (relatively late) response, I'm attempting to fix the redlink in my list :) Oh, your list is good, it reminds me of all the bands I forgot to put on there - The Black Keys, The Dresden Dolls, Scissor Sisters (how cool is that new album?), The Mars Volta... *sigh* I think I'll have to update my bit in a few days. riana_dzasta 12:39, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
- I didn't even know you could install a Linux system on a PC. My knowledge of computers is limited to - 'Ughhh, ughhh, mouse goes in this hole, press this button to make letters."
- And hey, that's really cool - I was going to ask you 'cause I know you have redesigned people's pages before, but it somehow slipped through the cracks. Cheers dude!
- Off for another slog at uni. Take care, riana_dzasta 23:52, 19 October 2006 (UTC)

Thanks
Thanks for that compliment on my web page design. It's taken me a long time to learn some of those tricks, but now that I've learned them I've found myself in something of a design rut. Can't get out of the vertical column layout. Yours looks very clean, very wiki. I like it a lot too. Also, cool logic gate pictures. Did you make them yourself? If so, what did you use to draw them? Muchas gracias
Hey Will, thanks a lot for supporting me in my recent RfA. It succeeded, and I am very grateful to all of you. If you ever need help with anything, please don't hesitate to ask. Also, feel free point out any mistakes I make! Thanks again, —Khoikhoi 04:54, 21 October 2006 (UTC)

Hey Will, thanks for the helpful advice regarding my userpage makoever! Ultimately I went with EMan32x's design, cuz I think the little boxes are cool :) Also, I just felt like a bit of change. Still, thanks for all the help, much appreciated. riana_dzasta 10:37, 21 October 2006 (UTC) |
- Oi! No, it was really great (far, far better than anything I could manage, at any rate!) I just wanted something completely different from my other one, that's all. Knowing me, I'll get bored with this one in 6 months time :p You did a great job, seriously. riana_dzasta 10:54, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
hope you feel better soon
Hi there, I saw your edit summary on my watchlist (yes, I try to watch over your page too) and saw that you were feeling stressed. Anything I can do to help? I hope that whatever is causing your stress passes quickly. I hope you don't mind if I add your name to the Esperanza Alerts page. BTW, if you needed help learning French, I can help. Take care, --Kyoko 10:59, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

- When the GCSE coursework pressures build up don't hesitate to ask. You could also use French/German WP and Wiktionary as resources - bet your school teachers haven't thought of that! All the best. Itsmejudith 14:23, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
- Hi there, I understand about Snopake, and also about not wanting to have everything on wiki. This is a little awkward, but while I'm very open about some things (well, obviously, given recent events), I'm quite private about others, and I really am hesitant to give info that can be directly linked to me, like e-mail addresses. This goes back to the relationship that I mentioned in my "Did you know?" section of my userpage. I'm sorry if it seems as if I'm keeping you at arm's length, but I guess I am. This isn't your fault, it's mine.

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Scarletcarson.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Scarletcarson.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Heh! For that, and various other reasons (it's not good for farmers, and it's just annoying to change clocks all over the place... and we seem to have SO MANY CLOCKS! about ED and nathanr
Hi there, I'm not surprised that ED could face a libel suit, based on what I had seen about their description of Phaedriel. I'm actually more surprised that the site hasn't been sued before into non-existence, actually. I don't read that site, because it makes me feel, well, dirty just looking at it. Hope you're doing well. --Kyoko 18:07, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
- Hi Will, could you please use Fredil's talk page instead of mine when you're trying to talk to him? Thanks. --Kyoko 23:05, 28 October 2006 (UTC)

- The following is something that I put on Fredil's talk page, and you should be informed of the same: if you and Fredil keep up this level of dialogue, you risk committing libel and slander yourselves. Both of you, I gather, are minors, but I am not, and because the conversation is on my talk page, I could technically be drawn into any potential legal troubles, as well as the Wikimedia Foundation as a whole. Please just stop it all. Take it to e-mail or something. Just not on my talk page, and preferable not anywhere on Wikipedia. I have already told Fredil. Thank you. --Kyoko 23:27, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
- Hi Will, I left a similar message to this on Fredil's talk page. Anyway, I don't mean to hurt your feelings, both you and Yupigo are causing me a lot of stress right now on the wiki, which is why I will try to stay away from Wikipedia for the time being. I'm trying to be nice and patient, and it's not working, and it's just making me feel more depressed. It really would be better for the two of you if you both spent less time discussing the faults of other people. You should also be aware that it's improper to share the contents of private e-mail conversations of other people without their explicit permission. Especially when those e-mail messages discuss legal matters. I'm not sure how long I'll be away. Take care, --Kyoko 01:48, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

- This message was originally posted on Fredil's talk page, and I am posting it here with modifications: I was thinking about it, and my message doesn't seem to sink in. I have already asked Fredil four times not to bring up the ED discussion on my talk page. Let me put it this way: while I will accept your apology, if you persist in bringing up this matter on my talk page, I will be forced to seek administrative action against you.

- As it says on the current revision of my userpage, my apparent inability to keep other people from using my talk page as their personal chat room is making me feel powerless, and feeling powerless is making me feel depressed. I'm sorry if reading this hurts you, but I did try repeatedly to get you all to stop. I'm sorry. --Kyoko 05:07, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

- Hi Will, thanks for your apology. I couldn't sleep, and it occurred to me that I was being a bit mean on my userpage (which I will amend slightly). I'm sorry about that. In the future, should you feel the urge to discuss the faults of other people, could you please take it to private e-mail instead? It's not very Esperanzian to engage in such behaviour. I hope you will understand if I try to stay away from Wikipedia for a short time all the same. Thank you.--Kyoko 10:37, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

think long and hard about this
Hello, I am stopping by briefly because from the levity of your apologies, you still don't seem to fully understand what you did.
Imagine that you're in your room, and two people whom you barely know walk in uninvited and start criticising, in a loud voice, Wikipedians whom you have never personally corresponded with. You're taken aback by their audacity at invading your space, and even more so, by their language. You beg and plead them to take it elsewhere, and finally you ask them to leave, but still they don't. You feel upset, irritated, and ultimately depressed that nothing you do will make them stop. That's how I felt and still feel to some extent.
You should also know that in discussing private legal matters on Wikipedia, you are in effect announcing them to the world.
I hope this makes my position clear to you. I'm sorry if you feel hurt by this, but you did do all of these things. I will probably be on break for a few days to a week. --Kyoko 18:27, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
- Hi Will, I'm just too addicted to Wikipedia to stay away. A bit unhealthy, that, but most addictions are.
- I might have sounded heavy-handed in what I wrote, but my point is that you really need to learn when discretion is required. If you are so cavalier in discussing things that presumably other people have confided in you as being private or secret, why should they or anyone else trust you?
- Another thing: please don't try to hide stuff on my talk page without my permission. Whatever you try to hide will still be in the edit summary, and trying to hide it is simply dishonest.
- You don't need to apologise anymore, but please think about what I have said, and take this whole situation as a learning experience. Thank you.--Kyoko 22:27, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
-
- Regardless of your intentions, this was not a matter of simply reverting vandalism. You attempted to hide stuff on someone else's talk page without their permission. Do you understand what I'm getting at? You were once an administrator, so you should understand that tampering with other people's property (such as my talk page) is wrong. Please look at this template as a reminder. I know that this is adding to your stress, but you really should know better, especially as a former administrator, and you did bring this upon yourself.
-
- I hope that this hasn't lessened your opinion of me (though I rather suspect you don't think highly of me at the moment), and I hope that this hasn't scared you away from Wikipedia. I think that you're a good person at heart, but you should try to use better judgement in the future. As I said before, take this whole situation as a learning experience, and grow from it. --Kyoko 05:05, 30 October 2006 (UTC)

Hi Will, I am so very sorry for the way that I chastised you. The guilt has been eating at me and making me feel worse and worse. I shouldn't have been as harsh as I was. I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me. --Kyoko 14:17, 1 November 2006 (UTC)

Hey Will, glad to see you are back. I hope you are ok. I have a question for you: Do you read the Harry Potter books?--Chilifix 01:11, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
The futility of life
Life just isn't working out for me. Just when you think you can trust it, it stabs you in the back and emotions twist the knife in deeper. "....Out, out, brief candle! Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player that struts and frets his hour on the stage..." This statement is just too descriptive. Quote my parents: "Your mood is incorrect." I can feel what I want. My mood is up to me to decide, and you can't do anything about it. What don't they get about that!!? Life is futile and pointless, and though it may be happy for some, there is no purpose for existence. We are all flawed, and we cannot help it and do not realize it until the day humanity is ended. There is a fatal flaw in life, and I feel powerless and trapped, and even though I respect the fact that I have these flaws as well, they seem to lunge at me more than others.
Please give me some advice. Fredil 02:14, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

It was wrong of you to move Hercule
You know that REALLY controversial moves MUST be put on Wikipedia:Requested moves, right? Mr. Satan isn't there, so I will revert your edit.
Don't move it without checking to see if it's there. WhisperToMe 20:38, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
You still have to list it in order to notify all members. Remember the LAST one... the last one didn't really have consensus for moving to Hercule, BUT the existing article had such a lame title that the article was moved anyway and the moving request ended up passing.
I saw several people support using Hercule - They have to be notified to see if they still support the idea of having the article at Hercule. I didn't contact them myself, but I would like to do the same. WhisperToMe 20:43, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
Thank you, Sceptre. Now I know it's fair :) WhisperToMe 20:55, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

Macbeth (Shakespeare)
You decided to remove my page off wikipedia for reasons that are not clear to me. I thought that references to other sites were to direct readers to additional information provided on other sites. Am I wrong here? I am supposed to get permission to link to another site? I wrote this article myself as I've been teaching Macbeth at the high school level for 7 years and can practically recite the play verbatim. I'm going to post my article again without the reference if that was the problem. Please respons A.S.A.P.
