Schempp-Hirth Nimbus-4

The Schempp-Hirth Nimbus-4 is a glider built by Schempp-Hirth and designed by Klaus Holighaus.
The Nimbus-4 was developed from the Nimbus-3. The wing whas a multi-tapered plan and the span was increased to 26.5 metres. The aspect ratio is a 38.8. The fuselage is longer and a larger rudder is fitted. It first flew in 1990.
There is a two seat version, the 4D, and versions with either turbo engines (designation T) or self-launching engines (designation M).
