Since I cannot "promote" myself here, I'll be brief.

I am a part-time geography instructor somewhere in California, with particular interest in Chinatowns and Little Saigon. I have done a dissertation on the causes, effects and implications of intra-Chinese demographic shifts and diversity of Los Angeles's Chinatown. I plan on doing some further specific research and work on the community of Little Saigon in Orange County, California, albeit not for Wikipedia.

Unlike many other people who seem to be overly (and sometimes, manically) absorbed in Wikipedia, I do not intend on being a frequent contributor to Wikipedia, but I will perhaps add an occasional work or two.
