Scott Donald (Born 14 May 1980 Townsville, Queensland) is an Australian Rugby League player for the Leeds Rhinos in the English Super League competition. Known affectionately as 'Scotty' by some fans. Scott joined the Rhinos from Australian team Manly at the back end of 2005 as a replacement for outgoing winger Mark Calderwood and made a scoring debut for the Rhinos against Huddersfield Giants on 11 February 2006
The Australian has been a huge disappointment in the Super League in some people's eyes, but when he was partnered with Chev Walker in the centre he rarely saw the ball due to Walker's tendencies to be greedy, it is clear that it is not fully his fault. While partnered with other people who are less ball greedy he is able to be brought into the game more. Towards the end of the 2006 season he built up a rapport with Clinton Toopi with the two of them linking up well together. That looks to have continued into this season with them both being at the centre of a number of attacking moves in pre-season.
Many critics were forced to back down after he was the 3rd top try scoring winger in the league in 2006, with only St Helens' Ade Gardner and Catalans Justin Murphy scoring more tries than he did
