Scott Lagasse Jr.(pronounced LAG-a-see) is a a driver on the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series circuit. He was born on January 31, 1981 in St. Augustine, FL. His father, Scott Lagasse, is a former driver in the Truck series. He is a member of Chip Ganassi Racing's driver development program and currently drives the #04 Dodge Hemi truck for Bobby Hamilton Racing. Lagasse will also drive six Auto Racing Club of America races in 2006, for the Sharp team.
[edit] Busch Series Career
Lagasse made his Busch debut at Phoenix in 2005. He started that race in 33rd position and finished 40th, driving the #40 for FitzBradshaw Racing. He only managed a best finish of 22nd at Milwaukee Mile and a best start of 18th at Dover International Speedway. Originally, Lagasse was slated to run the Busch Series in 2006, but was moved to the Truck Series instead.

Lagasse Jr. is expected to run the majority of the races for the #04 Dodge in 2006. Kevin Hamlin and David Stremme have both made starts in the truck so that they could get seat time. Through five races, Lagasse has a best start of 28th and finish of 21st at Gateway.
