Template talk:Scottish Cities
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Please stop reverting this template - it needs to be consistent within Template:UK cities. Take a look at any article including it to see what I mean. Owain (talk) 20:28, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
- I would say that the difference between the 2 versions is not great- do we really need to edit war over it? What are the concerns? Astrotrain 21:33, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
Take a look at this, it just looks absurd:
Places with city status in the United Kingdom |
Bath • Birmingham • Bradford • Brighton & Hove • Bristol • Cambridge • Canterbury • Carlisle • Chester • Chichester • Coventry • Derby • Durham • Ely • Exeter • Gloucester • Hereford • Kingston upon Hull • Lancaster • Leeds • Leicester • Lichfield • Lincoln • Liverpool • London (City of London and Westminster) • Manchester • Newcastle upon Tyne • Norwich • Nottingham • Oxford • Peterborough • Plymouth • Portsmouth • Preston • Ripon • Saint Albans • Salford • Salisbury • Sheffield • Southampton • Stoke-on-Trent • Sunderland • Truro • Wakefield • Wells • Winchester • Wolverhampton • Worcester • York Bangor • Cardiff • Newport • St David's • Swansea |
Why should the Scotland template be different from the other three? Owain (talk) 11:09, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
- I agree, the UK template is absurd. It should be deleted! Kanaye 15:33, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

- I kinda agree (for the first time) with
Owain, the IP. Why is the Scotland one different to the other three countries? It looks terrible on the {{UK cities}} template. What is the logic being applied here? Jhamez84 01:06, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
