[edit] Plot summary
Mexico. An Aztec pyramid, dedicated to the rain god Tlaloc, is discovered, containing numerous artifacts and a well-preserved mummy. All are taken to a U.S. university for display. During the preparation, one of the students working on the display steals an amulet from the mummy's wrist, giving it to a girl in which he's interested. However, another of the students is actually a descendant of Aztec priests, and needs the amulet as part of a ceremony to Tlaloc. He resurrects the mummy and sends it to recover the amulet. The other students must prevent the potentially calamitous ceremony, while trying to survive the mummy's attacks.
