[edit] Muse
Does anyone think this article goes overboard with the Muse reference? Until their American and I presume worldwide hit(s) from 2003/4/5, Muse was an indie-ish rock band only popular in the UK, and not that popular either. "Screenager" comes from one of their older albums. What's more, it was not even a single, much less a hit. It's doubtful anyone but devoted Muse fans would recognize this song or credit it with putting a new spin on the word, and actually I don't think it's even a favorite song of Muse fans.
I suppose the basic article is tenuous in the first place as "screenager" just comes from some novel, but at least it has more validity than saying it comes from a Muse song written 4 years later that no one really noticed.
